If there's ever something more that you'd like to learn about After Effects on your own you could always turn to the very extensive Help category in the Menu called Help. You can search for something here, or you can choose to invoke After Effects Help, which I'll get to in a moment. If you want to learn more about expressions and scripting you can choose those categories here and even access the Expression Reference. There's also an Effect Reference, Animation Presets, Keyboard Shortcuts, Welcome, and the Tip of the Day, Product Improvement Program, which will ask you for your opinions and you can go ahead and try to help improve Adobe products, you can find online support, and yet this category down here is very interesting. You have a Registration Deactivate and Updates. Now, what in the world are these guys? Well, it's a good idea to always register your software, especially if you purchased it yourself, so I highly suggest that you do own your software. These guys do spend a lot of time and money to make these things for us to in turn get money from, so, we should support those guys. So, you should register your software because it also has an added benefit. Let's say you're brand new to After Effects, alright? You're at your friend's house, he has After Effects, and you really like it. You should buy your own copy, and so when you register it and you buy it for the very first time you're going to be hit with the full price, okay? So, whatever the cost of After Effects is, you as a new user are going to have to just pay that whole price, but never again, because updates to the application are always going to be cheaper when you Upgrade, so if you have After Effects CS4 today, then After Effects CS5 is going to cost you much less than CS4. Now the Deactivate is helpful when you want to buy a brand new computer and you want to take your After Effects registration information and put it on a new computer. So, you Deactivate After Effects, or anything from the Creative Suite, on your current machine you install the application on your new machine and then you register it over there, which will pretty much move your registration information to your new machine. So, let's go ahead and take a quick look at the After Effects Help. Now I already have my Browser open because this is what's going to happen when you choose that option. So I can find help here online as to how to use After Effects. I have a Read Me file here and other things that pertain to After Effects. I'll return to the application again and you'll see that I have the ability to go to the Expressions Reference. The Web Browser opens up, and for those of you guys who want to be an aspiring programmer and get into the very heart of After Effects, which are the Expressions, you can find out how to program those right inside of this Help file. So, use the Help Menu to learn more about After Effects and especially about the features you really want to focus on, such as Scripting and Expressions.
