Navigate The Acrobat Workspace / Acrobat Tool Groups pt. 2

Subtitles of the Movie

If you haven't just started 3ds max, you may want to reset your workspace just to start with a clear workspace. Go to file, reset, it may ask if you want to save what you have got, if you do go ahead and click yes. Give it a file name, save, do you really want to reset, yes and you will start with reset workspace. And there are four other things I would like to look just so that our workspaces will look somewhat the same. They are all are in the customize menu and the first one is show UI. Four items should be checked here, the command panel, the main toolbar, the tab panel and the track bar. If any of those are not checked just go ahead and click on them. And another thing is units setup. Click on that, I am using US Standard, feet with decimal inches. If you want to be using the same units as me go ahead and click that. Or you may be comfortable with some other unit and that's fine too. Another thing is on customize and preferences. If use large toolbar buttons is checked I would go ahead and uncheck that so that you will be using small toolbar buttons. Saves a little screen real estate, final thing is gizmos. Just make sure that this is on and this is on. That way, when we get to the chapter on gizmos we will be looking at the same thing and click OK. So that should make sure that our workspaces are somewhat similar as we go into the coming chapters. es are somewhat similar as we go into the coming chapters. Now, another thing that you can do is hide all of your toolbars if you prefer the extra working space. And something else I didn't show you in the last lesson, you can also hide the menu bar by choosing the command and you will see the other uses for this in later lessons. You can redisplay your toolbars by pressing F8 and redisplay your menu bar by pressing F9.
