Another option we have available to us is to crop pages. So with a page selected, in this case the employment test question, I can go to the thumbnails popup menu and choose crop pages - brings up this crop pages dialogue box with a small representation or a thumbnail of the page will be added in the middle. And you can see how we can manipulate this, we can type in a value here or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease this value incrementally. It tells you what page your page size will be cropped to; you can zero out all these changes by clicking set to zero, or if you've used the crop tool you can choose to revert to selection. If you enable remove white margins, which is a very interesting option, the values that you can type in are grayed out and the crop area that you see, which is represented by this red rectangle, goes around all the edges - the left most, top most, bottom most, rightmost area in your document that has pixels, creating a very tight image that when you click ok will chop away everything outside where there is white margins. So that's a helpful option to use and below the crop margins dialogue area we have some options for choosing what pages we want to crop - do you want to crop just the selected page, or do you want to crop all the pages so its going to can crop every page in the document this same way. Which is kind of dangerous since I am not sure what will be chopped out of them all, or, of course you can choose a particular range. So I'll just stick with this particular option here selected, and the remove white margins type of option and click ok. You can crop your page using the crop tool - that's this tool right here. Click on it to select it - and then click and drag diagonally over an area that you want to crop. You can see it shows you the boundaries of the area that will be inside the crop - double click in this area and it brings up the crop pages dialogue box. And you can even see that it has highlighted the crop using that red outline, and it shows you all the values that you will be cropping away. So I'll click ok and crop just that page down to very tight shape. So there are a couple of ways you can crop pages using the thumbnails pull down menu with a selected page or using the crop tool. umbnails pull down menu with a selected page or using the crop tool.
