Making PDF Files / Open as PDF

Subtitles of the Movie

Before we get into the proper way of making adobe pdf files and by that I mean using Acrobat distiller, which gives you a lot more options and capabilities for creating a pdf file. I want to show you one last way we can do that and that is to choose to open as an adobe pdf - brings up the open dialog box and we have a option here for show all files, but this also is a menu of a different file types that this open as dialog box can take advantage of. It does support a simple text file and also supports HTML files but when I open a HTML file I prefer to use another feature, which is the open web page, which I will talk more about in later movie. so what this really supports is basically graphic file formats and I am going to show you just a simple one the, the tiff file format that it supports; and you can see once it shows to tiff files and I am only seeing the available tiff files, in this particular folder. Also now I have chosen a graphic format I have an option for settings and if I click on that, it shows me the conversion or compression options; and this is very helpful because you can see that, I can convert my image immediately through a jpeg conversion or compression scheme and I can choose how I want it to look. So I can have the maximum quality compression, which will create much larger files or minimum quality, which will create much smaller files. I will choose maximum and say ok because I want my picture look pretty good and click open, and it did a pretty nice job of converting my image into a pdf file and now I could immediately save it out, save as this name sunflower.pdf and put it somewhere. So that and this is another way you can open files but again this is really designed for graphics. en files but again this is really designed for graphics.
