VTC started producing the training tutorials in Flash format during the last quarter of 2007. This new VTC AIR Player can be used to access the Flash training videos right from your desktop. All new releases are available in Flash format and older courses are currently being converted to Flash (which is why you may not see a particular course available on this VTC AIR Player).What is the technology used to develop the Flash player?
We have developed the player using Adobe AIR, the new technology from Adobe.Does this player run on all operating systems?
Adobe AIR run time is available for Windows and Macintosh operating systems. Adobe plans to release a run time for Linux soon.How should I start using this player?
To begin using the new player, you need to install the respective Adobe AIR run time for your operating system. Once the installation of the AIR run time is complete, download the VTC AIR Player. Double click on the vtcairplayer.air file to begin the installation process.
Once the installation is complete, you should find the shortcut on your desktop. Double click on the shortcut and a splash screen appears.
If you are a VTC Online University member, enter your username and password. Once your login credentials are validated, you will be shown the workspace.

If behind a firewall, be sure Adobe AIR and Flash are granted appropriate access and that the RTMP protocol (default port uses 1935) is not blocked.How should I take care of player updates?

The VTC AIR Player synchronizes bookmarks, ensuring that bookmarks you've added from both from within this application, or www.vtc.com, appear the same. You can view bookmarks anywhere, at any time.What should I do in case I get stuck?

No. This new player is designed and developed to work with the VTC Online University.
